1) Who we are 

This Privacy Policy explains how Roof Restore 5X,  collects, uses, and shares personal information through our website https://www.roofrestore5x.com (the “Site”), our forms, calls, texts, and related services (the “Services”).

2) Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Contact & identity data: name, email, phone number, address, company, project details.

  • Consent & preferences: whether you opted in to SMS, email, or calls; the exact consent text shown; timestamp; IP; source (web form, in-person, phone).

  • Communications: call recordings (where permitted by law), voicemail, SMS/MMS content, reply keywords (STOP/HELP), email contents.

  • Device & usage: IP address, browser/OS type, and pages viewed.

  • Job/media uploads: photos, files, or comments you submit.

  • Analytics & advertising data: via tools like Google Analytics and similar.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

3) How we use information

  • Provide quotes, schedule appointments, and deliver roofing services.

  • Send appointment-related updates and, only if separately consented, occasional promotional messages.

  • Answer questions and provide support.

  • Improve the Site, Services, and marketing.

  • Comply with law, prevent fraud, and protect our rights.

4) SMS Program Terms (A2P Compliance)

We offer two distinct SMS programs. You will only receive messages for programs you explicitly opt into. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

A) Appointment/Text Notifications (Transactional)

Purpose: confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes.
Frequency: as needed for your appointments.
Example message: “Roof Restore: Your appointment on 7/20 at 11:00 AM is confirmed. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to stop.
Help: Reply HELP for help.
Cost: Message & data rates may apply.
Links: We use our own domain; no public link shorteners.
Source of numbers: We text only numbers that gave explicit consent to Roof Restore; we do not text purchased/third-party lists.
Records: We maintain opt-in/opt-out logs (timestamp, IP, form version or consent text, and number).

B) Marketing/Promotions (Optional; Separate Consent)

Purpose: occasional offers (e.g., free inspection invitations, seasonal maintenance tips).
Frequency: about 2–4 msgs/mo.
Opt-in: requires a separate unchecked checkbox or keyword opt-in.
Opt-out/Help/Cost/Links/Records: same as above.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery may vary by carrier and location.

5) How to opt in and opt out

  • Opt in (web): our Site displays an unchecked consent checkbox next to the submit button with clear disclosure (see text below).

  • Opt in (in-person/phone): we may collect written or recorded consent using the same disclosure.

  • Opt out: reply STOP to any text; you may also email contact@roofrestore5x.com

  • Help: reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@roofrestore5x.com.

Standard disclosure used at sign-up (example):

“I agree to receive appointment-related text messages from Roof Restore. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Not a condition of purchase. See Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”

For marketing texts, we add:

“I agree to receive promotional texts from Roof Restore (est. 2–4 msgs/mo). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”

6) Sharing of information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers (e.g., website host, analytics, CRM, messaging providers/gateways, call tracking) who process data for us under contract.

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell your personal information.

7) Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and analyze usage (e.g., Google Analytics). You can control cookies via your browser settings; blocking some cookies may impact the Site’s functionality.

8) Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Opt-in/opt-out and consent metadata may be retained to demonstrate compliance and to honor do-not-contact requests.
