1) Who we are and how these terms work
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roof Restore website at https://www.roofrestore5x.com and any quote, appointment, or service you request from us (together, the “Services”). By using the site or booking with us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which are incorporated by reference.
2) Our services and estimates

- Scope. We provide roof inspections, repairs, replacements, and related exterior work.

- Remote quotes. Satellite or aerial measurements are a convenient starting point. They are estimates, not a final contract price. A firm proposal may require an on-site review to confirm layers, decking condition, ventilation, flashing, pitch, and access.

- Unforeseen conditions. Hidden damage (for example, rotten decking, mold, structural issues, code upgrades) is not included until discovered. If found, we will issue a written change order for approval before proceeding.

- Exclusions unless stated otherwise. Interior finishes, paint, landscaping, utilities, asbestos/lead abatement, and unrelated work are excluded.
3) Scheduling, access, and safety

- You authorize us to access the property during agreed windows and to stage materials, dumpsters, ladders, and equipment safely.

- Please secure pets, vehicles, and valuables; clear driveways and work areas. We protect the site in a commercially reasonable way, but normal construction dust and vibration may occur.

- Weather can affect dates. If we need to reschedule for safety, we will notify you promptly.
4) Pricing, deposits, and payments

- Proposal. A written proposal will describe scope, materials, price, and payment schedule.

- Deposit. We may require a deposit to schedule materials and labor.

- Progress/final payments. Due as stated in your proposal or invoice. Late balances may incur a reasonable late fee or interest as allowed by law, plus collection costs.

- Taxes/permits. You are responsible for applicable taxes and HOA approvals. Where required, we will obtain building permits and include permit costs in your price or as a line item.
5) Changes and cancellations

- Customer changes. If you add or remove work, we will issue a written change order with any price/time impact.

- Cancellation. If you cancel after materials are ordered or crews are scheduled, reasonable restocking or mobilization charges may apply. Any statutory cancellation rights still apply.
6) Warranties

- Workmanship. We stand behind our work with a limited workmanship warranty described in your proposal. Warranty coverage begins at substantial completion and is contingent on full payment and proper maintenance.

- Manufacturer warranties. Shingle and accessory warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to their terms. Registration may be required.
7) Customer responsibilities
Provide accurate information, disclose known leaks or prior issues, and notify us about special conditions such as solar panels, skylights, chimneys, historic districts, or multiple shingle layers. Tell us about any underground utilities or sprinklers near the staging area.
8) Photos and jobsite signage
You authorize us to take before/after photos for documentation and warranty purposes. We may display a small yard sign during active work. With your permission, we may use anonymized photos in our portfolio and marketing.
9) Website use and content
All content on the site, including text, logos, and images, is owned by Roof Restore or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, scrape, or use the site in a way that harms, overloads, or interferes with it. Third-party links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
10) Communications, Marketing, and SMS program
By submitting your information, you may choose to receive communications from us by email, phone, and text.

- Consent choices. Our forms provide separate, unchecked boxes for appointment notifications and for promotional texts. You choose what you want to receive. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

- STOP/HELP. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
- Privacy. We do not share mobile numbers or opt-in data with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share with service providers who support the delivery of our messages. See our Privacy Policy and

Marketing/Promotional Messages: We will share tips on how to protect and take care of your roof. Occasionally, send out promotional messages related to offering free quotes for roof replacements.
- A sample of such a message is as follows:
“Hi Aaron, quick question from David here at Roof Restore. How old is your roof? If it’s 15+ years or you’ve had repeat leaks, I can come by to quote a replacement and talk timelines before the deep winter stretch. Should I pencil you down for this week?
Reply STOP to Opt Out.

- You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

11) Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in a signed proposal or warranty certificate, the Services and the site are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Roof Restore is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from the Services or your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us for the specific work giving rise to the claim.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Roof Restore, our employees, and subcontractors harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site, except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.
14) Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine without regard to conflicts rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County, Maine, unless the parties agree to confidential binding arbitration. Each party consents to personal jurisdiction there. Small-claims matters may be brought in small-claims court.
15) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page and are effective when posted unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of the site or Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
